Bescom Name Transfer

Documents required for Bescom Name Change:

1. Sale Deed Copy (All pages)
2. Aadhar Card Copy ( of both owners in case of joint owners)
3. NOC from PPMS Office.
4. EC or Property Tax receipt or E-khata (in your name).
5. Passport size photo (of both owners in case of joint owners)
6. Most recent electricity bill

You need to go to the respective Bescom office with the above-mentioned documents. Along with above documents you need to pay Charges of around Rs 600 per meter. The cash counter is only open between 10 am to 1:30 pm & 2 :30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Once the application file is submitted, it will take a month for your name to reflect on BESCOM website on your bill. If your name does not appear, please visit the office again and enquire.

If you are unable to handle it by yourself, there are some local people who can help by charging a little extra.
